Anderson Cooper is hosting a new parenting show for CNN+. When the CNN news anchor welcomed his newborn son into the world last spring, he documented his journey as a new parent all over his social accounts. Now, he will be hosting a new parenting show for CNN’s new streaming platform, which is set to premiere later this year. Parental Guidance With Anderson Cooper will air weekly and feature Cooper consulting with experts and learning “how to navigate life as a working father and confront everyday parenting challenges from sleep schedules to screen time.” He will also be taking questions from viewers to ask his experts. YPulse’s media consumption research found that the majority of Millennial parents pay for an online streaming account, and debuting a new parenting series with a popular public figure like Cooper is just a way that CNN is trying to grab parents’ attention for their new service.
