One brand is changing the way they talk about feeding babies to be more inclusive to all parents. Infant formula company Bobbie has launched a campaign to change the question “how is breastfeeding going” to “how is feeding going,” so the conversation around feeding babies won’t exclude same sex parents, adoptive parents, working moms, mastectomy moms, and others. The majority (83%) of parents turn to formula in the first year of a child’s life and this “silent majority” often feels judged for not feeding their child breastmilk. As the brand’s co-founder explains, parents “should never feel guilty for however they choose to feed their babies. Period.” Bobbie is enlisting a diverse range of parents, including Queer Eye’s Tan France (a new dad) to spread the message. (Business Wire)
