PacSun is getting in on the resale business. PS Reserve marks PacSun’s first move into the resale market as it works to capture young thrifters through limited-edition footwear, apparel, accessories, and more. Jordan Brand, Yeezy, Supreme, Bape, and Kaws are a few brands consumers will be able to shop from on PS Reserve. After noticing how young shoppers tend to complete their PacSun looks with footwear and accessories from The Magnolia Park (Mag Park), Pacsun called on Mag Park’s owner to help guide its authentication process for PS Reserve. The partnership will “eliminate the need to go somewhere else to get the complete outfit,” owner Michael Guerra notes. With young shoppers increasingly turning to secondhand clothing—and Depop being a major platform for next gen thrifting—the resale business is becoming a major way for brands to reach young shoppers.
