So it makes sense that the majority of Sephora’s latest #SephoraSquad Beauty Influencer Program class identifies as BIPOC. The beauty giant just announced the creators to be selected as part of their third annual #SephoraSquad, which is “a yearlong, paid influencer program that provides resources and mentorship to emerging creators.” According to the brand, this year’s class is “particularly diverse” with 79% identifying as people of color — 30% of whom are Black and 24% of whom are Hispanic or Latino. They also note that they sought diversity in terms “of tapping LGBTQ+ creators, vloggers of different ages, and male beauty influencers.” Once selected, Squad members have the opportunity to participate in marketing initiatives, early access to free products, and the chance to be featured on Sephora’s flagship channels.
