Brands are (slowly) getting back to influencer travel.

Jun 09 2021

Brands are (slowly) getting back to influencer travel. As vaccination rates increase and COVID-19 cases slow in the U.S., Creed, Revolve, and Burt’s Bees are among a few brands welcoming domestic and international travel for vaccinated influencers. Creed hosted its first in-person event since the pandemic in Iceland for the launch of its Viking cologne, where influencers produced behind the scenes content for their social channels to promote the new fragrance. Revolve also recently held its first international event in Turks & Caicos with 23 influencers (the brand usually hosts nine influencer trips per year), while Clorox has travelled to different cities in the U.S. for in-person events with Burt’s Bees. Still, the backlash that some influencers received last year for fleeing cities in the wake of COVID has been top of mind for brands, and they’re proceeding with caution by ensuring their travel plans comply with U.S. entry and exit requirements.
