Gen Z and Millennials in the U.K. are becoming money-saving pros. According to a study from Clearplay U.K., 68% of Gen Z and 61% of Millennials are budgeting their money and saving more than previous generations. Additionally, 59% of young people use online apps to invest their money compared to 19% of older generations. TikTok has also illustrated the savvy spending habits of Gen Z through the #CheapestThing trend and countless videos showing off dupes for makeup and clothing. While the pandemic hit young peoples’ career goals and finances hard, they’re still becoming some of the most financially savvy generations. (Refinery29)
