Lowe’s is hosting a “Night at the Lowemance” date night for Valentine’s Day. To reach quarantined couples this year, the company is hosting a special, “in-store splash-painting” date night which will start off the evening with “a toast and light bites” followed by the option to choose from a “menu” of HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams paint colors to splash-paint a blank canvas that they will be able to keep. The retailer is taking “reservations” through their Lowes.com/valentines site for date nights at their retail locations in some of “America’s most romantic cities.” Fifty couples will be selected to win the after-hours, “in-store experience” and must reside within one of the 10 metro areas. YPulse’s Valentine’s Day report found that 53% of 20-39-year-olds are interested in Valentine’s Day-themed events or promotions from brands. (USA Today, Marketing Dive)
