| BuzzFeed’s first-ever mobile game is focused on mental health. YPulse’s Gaming report found that 66% of 13-39-year-olds feel video games are an appropriate way to help with mental health, and BuzzFeed’s new game is all about the “importance of mental health preservation amid a trying year.” Run Boggo Run, which is inspired by media brand’s hit animation series The Land of Boggs (which has 1.1 million followers on Instagram), will allow users to play as Boggo and her BFF Boe as they run through the “so-called Valley of Despair and seek to dodge Anxiety Gremlins” in order to collect “self-care tokens” and fight the Stress Monster (a metaphor for “the monstrosity that was 2020”) by throwing bath bombs at it.
