Netflix is launching a new tool so parents can monitor—and understand—all the content their kids are watching. This weekend, Netflix subscribers with kid accounts were alerted about a new feature: The “Kids Activity Report.” With the new tool, parents will be able to view data on what type of content their kids are spending the most time watching, who their favorite character is, and recommendations for new shows based on their interests. The report also comes with a “joke of the day,” printable coloring pages, and “prepared questions” to ask kids about their favorite show or characters. YPulse’s entertainment report found that 75% of Millennial parents agree “My child watches more content on streaming services than cable.” (The Verge) |
