YouTube could be the next major shopping destination. As shoppable videos continue to become more popular, YouTube is asking creators to test software that tags and tracks the products featured in their clips. The platform has long been a place for creators to share their videos and reviews on their favorite things from toys to beauty products, and viewers may be able to buy those items directly through the videos soon. The company is reportedly also testing an integration with Shopify to sell items through YouTube.
