ThredUp is rebranding themselves to reflect today’s generation of “proud thrifters.” Since it launched in 2009, ThredUp has prided themselves on being a “chic and trustworthy” secondhand clothing brand that was “breaking down the stigmas associated with thrifting and sustainable fashion.” Now, as the resale industry continues to be trendy among young shoppers, they’re is rebranding their tagline as “Thrift loudly” to showcase and reflect the new generation of thrifters in “the era of conscious consumption.” According to the brand, there is more pride in thrifting these days, and as “every dollar is spent intentionally” it’s more popular than ever.
