Halloween experiences are being transformed into drive-ins and drive-thrus this year. Sure, Halloween looks different this year, but some brands are quickly adapting to the new normal. Drive-ins have been popular during the pandemic, and Hulu is bringing the concept to their “Huluween” experience next month. The event will take place in LA over four days, and feature spooky and “pandemic-friendly” photo activities, live entertainment, and screenings of their new horror movies. Meanwhile, Freeform is hosting “Halloween Road,” an “immersive” drive-thru experience where attendees will be taken on “a thrilling journey” through classic Halloween flicks like Ghostbusters, Hocus Pocus, and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
