YouTube is revamping its original content for stay-at-home viewers. YPulse’s COVID-19 special report on entertainment found YouTube is seeing major spikes in use with quarantined Gen Z. Now, the platform has “shaken up” its lineup of shows and specials and restructured them specifically for stay-at-home viewers. Over the next two months, they’ll also be premiering content including a series following artist Yungblud as he adjusts to a remote lifestyle while creating music; “Create Together: #WithMe,” a family show hosted by Joseph Gordon-Levitt; a docuseries focusing on the mental health struggles of influencer Lele Pons; and Celebrity Substitute, an education-based series where celebrity guest stars teach with real teachers.
