As young consumers cook and bake at home and stock up on many food staples, experts believe that larger companies are “underestimating the long-term impact” that Coronavirus will have on at-food consumption. Even as the quarantine restrictions start to ease up, young adults are still likely to eat at home more often than before the crisis, thanks to health concerns and tighter budgets.
