BTS is launching a new virtual concert convention to “fill that live concert-shaped void” in fans’ hearts. The enormously popular K-pop band had to postpone their North American tour due to the ongoing pandemic, so they’re putting together Bang Bang Con, a free two-day “online concert weekend” starting April 18 on their YouTube channel—along with a coinciding series of posts on Instagram. The marathon will feature past performances from some of their biggest concerts. Earlier this year, when the group dropped their Map of the Soul: 7 album, fans—a.k.a. the BTS Army—”broke the internet” and it’s pretty inevitable Bang Bang Con will be a hit. (EW, Teen Vogue)
