Collage kits are the new way that Gen Z teens are decorating their bedrooms. Wall collages are just as popular as ever, showing up on Instagram influencer posts and in teen films like To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. But the decline of magazines and rise of social media have led to a new product: “collage kits.” These prepackaged, themed, and usually color-coordinated print collections are being sold by influencers and young entrepreneurs on sites like Etsy, which has nearly 1,300 listings for the products. While some say the kits are a “shortcut to creativity,” many young consumers prefer them to magazines. (NYTimes)
