Marijuana vaping hit an all-time high among teens this year.

Dec 19 2019

Marijuana vaping hit an all-time high among teens this year. Monitoring the Future reports the percentage of high school seniors who vaped weed between 2018 and 2019 doubled from 7.5% to 14%. The same study found that daily marijuana usage for other age groups—including eighth and 10th graders—has remained steady in the last few years. The increases in vaping concern experts because of the potential risks tied to vapes, and the lung injury epidemic. However, YPulse did find that between 2018 and 2019, the number of 13-to-20-year-olds that think vaping is better for them than cigarettes dropped from 44% to 33%. (The Verge)
