Gen Z gets their “fashion inspo” from influencers. For young consumers, “fashion is super connected to influencers” and they’re getting inspiration for everyday products and fashion from popular pages on Instagram, bloggers, and celebrities. According to YPulse’s fashion survey, online celebrities are Gen Z’s third biggest fashion influence, after social media and friends. But they’re not necessarily paying influencer-level prices: because following clothing trends can get costly, many are finding cheaper alternatives through flea markets and resale. (Adweek)
