Nintendo is making a “Mario” movie, leveraging Millennials’ love for nostalgia entertainment. They’re pairing up with Illumination Entertainment to create the flick, and Universal Pictures will be distributing it. This isn’t the first time Nintendo has attempted to bring Mario to the big screen; after their 1993 live-action film flopped at the box offices, they’ve been understandably wary of movie adaptations. That said, this means one of Millennials' favorite tech brands is testing the waters and expanding their media presence. (THR)
