Nearly a quarter of Yale’s students enrolled in a Psychology course on happiness, making it the most popular class in the institution’s 316-year history. It may not be a coincidence that a 2013 report from the Yale College Council found that over half of their undergraduate students had sought mental health care at some point in their college careers. The most stressed, anxious generation is looking for some mental self-care, and the professor hopes the high enrollment means they’re “actually seeding change in the school’s culture.” (NYTimes)
