Millennials are taking “many-moons,” opting for several shorter trips instead of one extended post-wedding vacation. According to The Knot, 82% of newlyweds are taking two-to-five days for their initial honeymoon, and the trend is rooted in Millennials’ tendency to avoid taking vacation days (which is backed up by our Millennial Employee Handbook). One wedding planner explains, “Couples can’t get away from work when they want to anymore. The pressure doesn’t comport with the traditional two-weeks-off-the-grid honeymoon.” (NYP, Yahoo!)
