More Millennials are going camping. KOA Campgrounds’ revenues have been steadily rising for the past seven years, and their recent report shows that Millennials make up 40% of all campers today. Unsurprisingly, tech is playing a larger part in their off-the-grid trips: 40% of Millennial families post about their trip on social media while 68% share photos and videos during their stay. Sites like Hipcamp are also seeing success digitizing young campers’ booking experience in a bid to become “the AirBnb for nature.” (Forbes)
