Two twenty-somethings’ love for social media and celebrity culture has turned into a successful e-commerce business. In 2013, Shadi, 24, and Natalie, 22, started a joint Instagram account to share/repost aspirational outfit images from bloggers and popular celebrities. After increasing requests from followers to identify the clothes being featured, they began Meshki, an e-boutique stocked with trendy items, relying on customer feedback on what to sell. Soon, their own designs caught the eye of some major stylists, and the same celebrities they use to post pictures of, like Kylie Jenner and Taylor Swift, are now their customers. (Racked)
