Did you know two entrepreneurial high school students are partially responsible for the full-blown fidget spinner obsession? Seventeen-year-olds Cooper Weiss and Allan Maman started creating Fidget360 brand spinners on their school’s 3D printer, and demand quickly outstripped supply. They bought more 3D printers, and when that wasn’t enough, outsourced production to China. Today, their brand is cluttering the shelves at Walmart (along with tons of knock-offs) and making “hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales.” As the boys prepare for graduation, they’re taking investor calls during school—which even got one of them suspended.
