YouTube is opening a studio to help vloggers make VR videos. The VR Creator Lab in LA will “handhold” promising creators and brands through the process of making VR content by teaching best practices and providing resources, like cameras and training sessions. Post-program, participants will create four or more VR videos and a behind-the-scenes sneak peak while meeting with their YouTube mentors. Heads up though, the opportunity isn’t exactly open to the public: potential mentees need to have already made two 360-videos, have at least 100,000 subscribers, and be 18 or over. (Adweek)
