YouTube is reportedly starting its own paid music streaming service.

YouTube is reportedly starting its own paid music streaming service. It’s currently being called Remix, and will be a mix of Spotify and YouTube—aka streaming paired with video clips. Ypulse data found that 63% of 13-35-year-olds already regularly listen to music on YouTube, and record labels have noticed—voicing concerns that they’re not being compensated enough. Remix could solve that problem by bringing Gen Z & Millennials’ favorite artists onto a paid platform. Rumor has it the service will debut in March, an ambitious deadline. (Fast Company)
