Kids dressed as Batman are more willing to do boring stuff.

Dec 11 2017

Kids dressed as Batman are more willing to do boring stuff. According to a recent study, four-to-six year olds were asked to complete “boring computer tasks” for ten minutes, with a catch: there was an iPad available for when they chose to take breaks. Unsurprisingly, 37% of kids’ time was spent performing the tasks while 63% was spent on iPads. However, kids in costumes ranging from Dora to Batman who were encouraged in the third person (“Is Batman working hard?”) actually spent more time working than those in ordinary clothes. (World Economic Forum)
