Now, even celebs like Sabrina Carpenter are doing line dances on TikTok, which further exposes young followers to the idea of it. These outings are right in the sweet spot of nights out for Gen Z; they get a feeling of community, but everyone is actually dancing by themselves, and many are learning routines for the first time, both minimizing a potential fear of looking cringe.
