Instagram is a teen brand’s new BFF. A new report has found that teen-targeted retail brands are shifting their social media strategies away from Facebook and onto Instagram, due to the ability to curate user content, the shoppable feeds feature, and positive correlation between frequent posting and high engagement. It’s also where young consumers are spending more of their time: Ypulse’s social media tracker shows that77% of 13-17-year-olds are currently on Instagram. (Digiday)
