Twitter wants to give its users something to talk about…or brands to talk about that is. Twitter is currently beta-testing “conversational ads,” which aim to spread organic awareness on paid posts and stimulate conversations, without added cost. The ads feature a call-to-action button that provides a pre-composed tweet with the brand’s message when clicked. Although users will have the option to adjust the tweet to their preference before posting, it’s up in the air how many will choose to broadcast brands’ taglines. (Adweek)
