Snapchat getting in the game. The app has partnered with the NFL for the Live Story of the upcoming Super Bowl, which will be sponsored by Amazon, Marriott, Budweiser, and Pepsi. Those brands will have ads featured throughout the Story, and Snapchat and the NFL will be splitting the earnings. Since last year’s Super Bowl, Snapchat has grown their relationship with the football league, creating Live Stories for previous championship games. Although the app doesn’t have the ad measurement capabilities of its competitors, it offers brands the opportunity to connect with younger consumers. (Digiday)
