Young consumers are using AI tools to shop this holiday season. More than half of all American shoppers this season plan to leverage AI to compare prices, find products, and get personalized recommendations during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend specifically, according to Klaviyo. Young people are sure to be leading the trend—YPulse data shows that in general while shopping, not just during the holidays, 59% of 13-39-year-olds want AI to compare products and prices, and 51% to help them with gift ideas. With inflation forcing many to cut back on non-essentials and making holiday shopping trickier, young shoppers are using AI to shop earlier, smarter, and more efficiently. (Retail Dive)
