A majority of Gen Z students feel positively about school. A Gallup and Walton Family Foundation survey found that 71% of students give their schools an A or B grade, marking the highest satisfaction levels since the annual report began in 2022. The share of high school students specifically awarding an A jumped from 22% in 2023 to 31% in 2025. Parents’ satisfaction also rose, with 40% giving their child’s school an A, up from 33% the previous year. While academic performance remains a concern—especially as test scores in reading and math continue to lag behind pre-pandemic levels—experts say the rise in positive perception may be linked to improvements in school climate, stronger student-teacher relationships, and more engaging learning. (Newsweek)
