A new app is letting users shop for what they see on the TV. The Ever app uses a system that detects what’s on the screen and searches for a shoppable version of the item, without interrupting the entertainment. Users can shop characters’ clothes and housewares, including less expensive alternatives of the products. They can also buy a trip to the scene’s location: if users click the Ever button during Game of Thrones it will show where it was filmed and how to book travel.
