British Gen Z loves spicy foodsβ€”or at least, they say they do. A new poll shows that 43% of British young adults 18-28-years-old rate their spice tolerance as high or very high, making them the most likely age group to say so, with many going for the hottest item on a menu. However, they could be choosing spice just to keep up appearances: nearly half (49%) admit they’d fake eating something hot rather than seem weak in front of friends. Boomers, on the other hand, are much more chill about not liking spice and feel no shame in saying so. Millennials fall somewhere in between, putting hot sauce on just about anything and being the most open gen to trying new flavors. (The Sun)
