Today’s teens believe racism is a bigger problem than teens over 50 years ago did. In a recent poll, 82% of 13-17-year-olds said racial discrimination is an issue for their generation—more than double the amount of teens who took the same poll in 1966. For black teenagers, the results are bleaker: 91% said racial discrimination is not going anywhere, compared to 33% in 1966. Although Millennials are more racially tolerant and diverse as whole, technology has given them “all front-row seats to once-niche messages of hatred or videos of brutal police killings.” (Vox, MSN)
