Spotify wants to be even more kid-friendly. The service has relaunched their Kids and Family category with a new vocabulary and language-development focus, offering curated playlists for small children that centers around everyday activities like bath, bed, and playtime. To “promote early brain and language development,” and encourage interaction between parent and child, voiceover prompts (that are narrated by a number of celebrities) will occasionally come up in the playlists with conversation starters like “What should be our next song?” (TechCrunch)
