Millennial couples have no trouble talking about their finances. A TD Bank survey has found that couples who discuss financial matters at least once a week are happier than those who do it every few months, and 18-34-year-old couples in particular have embraced the concept: 74% discuss money with their significant others weekly. They’re even thinking about finances before the relationship starts: 48% of online daters say they’ve brought it up before meeting with their potential mate. The survey also found that one in five Millennials would break up with their partner if they discovered a financial secret, despite the fact that one in five keep a financial secret themselves.
