Are malls making a comeback with young consumers? A new HRC Retail Advisory survey reveals that 72% of 10-17-year-olds and Millennial parents are visiting a mall or shopping center monthly, with 22% of post-Millennials spending more than 90 minutes per trip and visiting four to five stores on average. The survey also found that 61% of 10-17-year-olds are strongly influenced by friends when it comes to making a purchase, and 69% prefer to receive a gift card over an actual gift. (Business Wire)
