All Americans, especially Millennials, are moving away from religion, according to Pew’s new report. The percentage of adults who consider religion “very important” to them and pray daily has declined 3% to 4% over the past eight years. But “skepticism about religion” is more evident in younger Americans: four in ten 18-34-year-olds say religion is important in their lives, compared to more than half of older respondents. (We believe use of the prayer hand emoji, however, remains strong.) (NPR)
