New research shows that British Gen Z is way behind Boomers when it comes to recycling.

Oct 09 2024

New research shows that British Gen Z is way behind Boomers when it comes to recycling. Recent findings from DS Smith show that 54% of Boomers recycle their paper and cardboard, while only 19% of Gen Z do the same. Although there is debate among gens about recycling guidelines, confusion is less common among Boomers—only 27% report uncertainty about what can be recycled, compared to 53% of Gen Z. However, the issue of who should enforce recycling regulations, government entities or local councils, remains a topic of discussion. (CircularOnline)
