Band-Aid is turning to TikTok for its newest ad campaign. In 2008, actress Skai Jackson made her first appearance in a Band-Aid television commercial at 5-years-old, and now the brand is involving her once again in their TikTok campaign. Band-Aid selected Jackson for the campaign because of her significant Gen Z following on TikTok and her role in the initial success of the brand’s signature jingle. The upcoming campaign will include content from 30 other influencers in order to connect with Gen Z. The jingle is considered one of Band-Aid’s most iconic brand elements, and as the jingle’s 50th anniversary approaches, it was the perfect time to tap into a bit of nostalgia. (Ad Age)
