Record numbers of French teenagers are getting baptised in the Catholic church. The French Catholic church revealed that the number of baptisms in the country is growing significantly. This is especially true among teenagers, where a 50% increase has been recorded—and many of the new converts don’t come from religious families. Data from YPulse’s WE Spirituality and Religion report shows 14% of French 13-39-year-olds say they’re Catholic. (Le Point)
