A weird trend among American celebs lately is to invest in amateur football teams in the U.K.—just like Ryan Gosling with the Welsh team of Wrexham or 50 Cent with a girls’ team in Cardiff. Jumping on the trend, Motherwell FC released a video clip openly asking to be bought by a Hollywood star. The funny video, which went viral, ends with a young supporter appealing directly to Taylor Swift and asking her to “gies some dosh.” (Adage)
