Alinea Invest is set to launch an artificial intelligence assistant to help Gen Z women with their investments.

Alinea Invest is set to launch an artificial intelligence assistant to help Gen Z women with their investments. The company recently raised $3.4M in seed funding and has already been downloaded 225K times, generating $1.8M in revenue. The founders observed that young Gen Z women specifically lacked knowledge about managing finances and wanted to “build an alternate platform” that not only educated users on building wealth but also managed their finances for them. While users initially use Alinea’s automated investing mode, they can later transition to buying or selling individual stocks as they become more experienced investors. YPulse’s Fintech report data shows nearly seven in 10 Gen Z and Millennial women would rather use a human advisor to help manage funds opposed to a robo-advisor.
