The British government is encouraging parents to send their kids to school even if they have a runny nose. Many parents keep their kids at home when they have symptoms of a cold—quite understandably considering it was common practice during the COVID-19 years. But the Ministry of Education is now trying to curve absenteeism with the launch of a new campaign, “Moments Matter, Attendance Counts.” In the ad, parents are reminded that they shouldn’t hesitate to send their kids to school—even if they have a runny nose. (The Telegraph)
