Netflix is increasing the price of its subscriptions in the U.K. and France. After cracking down on shared passwords earlier this year, Netflix is now using another tool to generate more revenue: pushing up the price of subscriptions. And while paying more is not ideal for young consumers, this increase in price is unlikely to dethrone Netflix as the top video content platform among young French and British consumers—according to YPulse’s biannual Media Consumption report.
