This recent phenomenon that has been popularized by young daters occurs when they book up several brief dates in a short period of time, rather than dedicating too much time / effort to one date. And data from Tinder’s Future of Dating report shows that about 51% of young users (ages 18-25) are redefining dating as a “low-pressure” part of their routines. A sex and relationship expert at We-Vibe says that stack dating “removes some of the pressure” of going on dates and allows young daters “to be ourselves rather than ‘performing’ the best version of ourselves.” YPulse research shows that Gen Z is redefining what commitment looks like to them, and brands like Tinder are adapting to these dating trends to keep up with young users.
