When COVID hit, live experiences were forced to pack up and hibernate a while. Events went virtual, and young Europeans spent the last year tuning into happy hours, concerts, and more via their screens. But while young Europeans aren’t convinced the pandemic is over—and virtual events certainly aren’t going anywhere anytime soon—Gen Z and Millennials are feeling ready to (cautiously) attend join more in-person events. YPulse’s Future of Experience report explores the present and future of in-person and virtual events, young European consumers’ feelings about both, what they want out of the future of experiences, and how brands are successfully connecting with fans / consumers virtually and in-person.
