Tons of young Brits are traveling to Japan. In 2025, there were 40% more British travelers visiting Japan than in 2019, and nearly 25% more than in 2024. And while thatβs not only Gen Z and Millennials, the young gens are certainly part ofβif not the leaders ofβthe trend. Twenty- and thirtysomethings are seeing what feels like everyone they know post pictures of the trendiest spots in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, and feel inspired to go themselves.
